About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will mentor Care Assistants to ensure outstanding care delivery. You will report to the Home Manager and collaborate with ancillary teams, engaging residents in meaningful activities while promoting independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and support Care Assistants
- Engage residents in meaningful activities
- Create person-centred care plans
- Conduct regular updates and reviews
- Promote dignity and respect in care
Requirements
- Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant
- NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care preferred
- Experience in a nursing or care home
- Understanding of CQC regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of dementia care is desirable

Compensation
Salary ranges from £13.45 to £13.85 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Location & Schedule
Located in Rayleigh, Essex; 36 hours a week with 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends.
