Senior Children and Young People's Mental Health Support Worker
About the Role
Support young people accessing the CYP Safe Haven in line with service specifications and operating procedures. Provide
a safe, welcoming environment in person and online, using de-escalation, active listening, and calm communication. Work
1:1 with young people to develop skills, confidence, and knowledge to manage their mental health, liaising with external
services as needed. Co-produce safety plans with young people and provide guidance or signposting on mental health,
relationships, identity, emotional regulation, self-harm, and other relevant issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
referral pathways and engage with relevant stakeholders including parents and carers. Support the Team Lead with project
