About the Role

The post provides opportunity for learning, reflection and development. We aim to ensure that the correct level of

competence is achieved, including: Development of managing the emergency department, including liaison with senior

nursing team Resuscitation and major trauma clinical skills Supervision and provision of clinical advice to junior

medical staff Formulating and implementing management plans for patients within sphere of competence in both acute and

long-term presentations. Refining of procedural skills Responsibility for effective communication with other members of

the clinical team to ensure the planned management for each patient is carried out.
