About the Role

Join a well-established nursery in South Woodford as a Senior Deputy Room Manager. This role involves leading a team to provide high-quality childcare and education, ensuring a nurturing environment for children and staff alike.

Responsibilities

• Support the Room Manager in delivering quality childcare.
• Implement the nursery’s curriculum and values consistently.
• Promote children’s learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and welfare.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Plan and assess children’s development effectively.
• Mentor practitioners and foster a collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as a Senior or Deputy Room Manager.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted standards.
• Confident leadership and communication skills.
• Nurturing and proactive professional approach.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation

Salary ranges up to £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a performance-related bonus.

Location & Schedule

Located in South Woodford, London, with options for 36 or 45 hours per week.
