Senior Fellowship in Emergency General Surgery

About the Role

Clinical: The post-holder will work primarily on the Surgical Emergency Unit (SEU) and in the Emergency General Surgery

Theatres on a shift system to provide senior input to general surgical emergency and major abdominal trauma patients,

both on the SEU and in the Accident and Emergency Department. The SEU is actively developing ambulatory care in the

acute surgical patient and the post-holder will be involved in leading and running this unit on a regular basis. This

will be with the support of a consultant, CT grade, nursing and administrative staff. Teaching: Oxford University
