About the Role

The Senior HealthCare Assistant will work within a skilled multi-disciplinary team, providing patient-centered rehabilitation for adults with neurological conditions. This role emphasizes clinical supervision and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Support registered nurses in delivering safe patient care.
  • Implement care plans under nurse guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Report changes in patient conditions to nurses.
  • Maintain quality in work and encourage team standards.
  • Record patient observations and initiate basic interventions.
  • Perform clerical duties in the absence of ward clerk.
  • Contribute to inter-disciplinary teamwork.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Health Care Assistant at Band 2.
  • Knowledge of unit procedures and competencies.
  • Ability to organize daily activities based on work plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation
