About the Role
The Regional Hyperacute Rehabilitation Unit (RHRU) forms the hub of the North West regional rehabilitation service
network and acts as a central focus for research and training of all professions in rehabilitation. RHRU is one of 8
rehabilitation units forming the level 1 specialist services within the NHS London.The Regional Rehabilitation Unit is a
growing 24 bed inpatient neurological unit that offers intensive multi-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation to adults with
severe and complex cognitive, communicative and physical difficulties. This may be due to traumatic brain injury, CVA or
other neurological conditions.
