Senior Immunisation Nurse

About the Role

Lead and model clinical practice whilst supporting and encouraging colleagues to reach their potential. To provide

support for the delivery of other school based immunisation programmes. To actively contribute to the development and

co-ordination of health promotion programmes to school aged children to improve the uptake of the school based

immunisation programme. To assist in the planning, co-ordination and delivery of community BCG clinics. Liaise and work

collaboratively with the Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust respiratory team in relation to complex BCG queries.

Maintain contemporaneous, factual records with the child the focus of all assessments and actions in accordance with
