About the Role
The purpose of the role is to provide strategic and operational nursing leadership withinIntensive Therapy Unit (ITU),
Critical Care Outreach Team (CCOT)and Acute Painservices(SWNS Division) to ensure and consistently develop a
high-quality efficient nursing service for patients.
The post holder will support the Head of Nursing and Deputy Chief Nurse (DCN) in leading the development of the nursing
agenda within the division. The postholder will be one of the named deputies for the Head of Nursing. The postholder
will provide professional leadership to nurses within the division and in conjunction with the Head of Nursing will
