Senior Nursery Practitioner

About the Role

To support and assist with the smooth running of the nursery service in the absence of the Nursery Manager, Deputy or

Early Years Foundation Stage Lead and at times being a key holder responsible for opening and closing of the building.

To take clear messages/enquiries verbally and/or via telephone/email when required and forwarding them to the

appropriate person, completing documentation for fire drills, risk assessments, room developments, child assessments,

individual care plans, accident/medicine forms, and incident reports. Knowing the Trust and nursery processes and role

in handling customer complaints and or reporting using the Datix system To lead in planning a curriculum that involves a
