About the Role

1. Provide analysis of drug and patient information, including researching information in areas where information is not

easily available. 2. Provide managerial planning and organisation to all aspects of the pharmaceutical service to the

surgical admissions unit to ensure a timely and efficient service. 3. Write relevant protocols, procedures and

guidelines for use within the surgical admissions unit and the wider Trust where medicines optimisation activities

required. 4. Continual review of the service is expected through regular audit and development of medicines optimisation

activities through project management and proof of concept pilots to establish new and innovative pharmacy services. 5.
