Senior Research Sister/Charge Nurse
About the Role
To support the UK government drive to make the UK a global leader in reserch delivery by reducing clinical trial set-up
times and increasing opportunities to participate in research, the postholders will provide expert and specialist advice
and hands on support for our delivery teams with feasibility, set-up and delivery of research studies from a clinical
aspect to achieve first patient first visit in line with these national drivers. As part of an innovative pilot project,
the first year in post for both roles will involve the majority of the week focusing on study set-up across all our
delivery teams. The work plan and priorities for these specialised nurse roles will be evaluated after the first year
