About the Role

Brook Street is seeking compassionate Senior Residential Support Workers in South Wales to support children and young people in residential care. Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and the community
  • Support the Registered Manager in staff development
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and policies
  • Maintain positive relationships with young people
  • Promote safeguarding and manage risks
  • Encourage participation in recreational activities
  • Follow health and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a care setting
  • Strong communication skills and a caring nature
  • Flexibility and resilience in challenging situations
  • Aged 22 or over for appropriate age gaps
  • Full UK manual driving licence

Compensation

Salary of up to £33,000 per annum, to be discussed based on experience.

Location & Schedule

Various children's homes across South Wales; full-time, permanent position.
