Senior Specialist Audiologist
About the Role
To assist in the day to day running of the Acute Audiology Service. To be responsible for assessing, reviewing and
assimilating audiological, relevant medical and other information when formulating optimal patient diagnostic and
management plans, taking into account current evidence based practice and latest research findings.To undertake simple
and more complex test procedures in all cases, with or without supervision, as appropriate. The Band 6 posts will have
the responsibility for various aspects of the more specialist work, including providing a joint care programme for
patients with more complex needs and/or tinnitus, to deliver deaf awareness / communication training and to be
