About the Role

The Senior Staff Nurseis responsible forthe assessment of care needs of patients, planning programmes of

care,implementationand evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision. They are expected to; take charge of

the ward and supervise junior members of staff provideclinical guidance to colleagues in disease identification and

management, and relevant interventions for the clinical speciality work independently/autonomously without direct

supervision and are accountable for their own actions take onadditionalresponsibility, such as a link nurse role They
