About the Role

Manvers ward is a 33- bedded ward specialising in respiratory medicine, and the care of patients with both acute and

chronic conditions. The ward area includes an 8- bedded Acute Respiratory Unit (ARU), a dedicated area for patients

requiring acute interventions such as Non Invasive Ventilation (NIV), tracheostomy care and the use of monitoring and

blood gas analysis to ensure our patients have the support they need at the earliest opportunity. In this area we have a

nurse to patient ratio of 1:2, making this a great place to work if you are looking to develop your acute respiratory

skills.
