Senior Staff Nurse, Plastics and Cosmetic Surgery
About the Role
Purpose: Within the service(s), the Senior Staff Nurse (SSN) will be a leading member of the team, working within their
scope of practice at all times under the direction of the Outpatient Manager and Consultant Surgeon(s) to provide expert
care and support to patients undergoing outpatient and inpatient consultations and surgery. The post holder will: Be a
positive role model for the service and to staff, and will be a patient advocate, ensuring a positive patient
experience. Provide sound knowledge and support, including planning and delivering patient care and supporting treatment
and aftercare as required by the role. Work within a governance framework and adhere to national/local regulatory
