Senior Staff Nurse - SACT Outpatient Service (Fixed Term 9 Months)

About the Role

1/ To provide integrated clinical leadership to a team of nurses within outpatient SACT in order to care for patients

with cancer to the highest possible standard and develop practice with the support of the SACT unit manager. 2/ The

post-holder will work as a skilled practitioner and will be responsible for the delivery of patient-focused programmes

of care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of the client group. 3/ When required the

post-holder will manage the SACT unit on a day-to-day basis reporting to the SACT unit manager. 4/ To assume

responsibility for the operational management of staff and resources in order to provide a safe environment; in the
