About the Role

The SET CAMHS Crisis Senior Practitioner will lead operational practices within the team, focusing on crisis response and community intervention for young people experiencing mental health crises. This role involves oversight of staffing, performance management, and direct clinical work, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions and support for families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational practices and staffing within the team.
• Manage performance and audit treatment outcomes.
• Provide direct clinical work and support team allocations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Consult and train junior team members and external professionals.

Requirements

• Post-graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, or Psychology.
• Full registration with the appropriate professional body.
• Experience working with high-risk client groups.
• Strong understanding of clinical risk assessment and management.
