Sexual Health Care Assistant

About the Role

To assist and support the sexual health team. To assist doctors and nurses to facilitate the care of patients attending

the Sexual Health Service to include Integrated Sexual Health, Health Advisory, Pregnancy Advisory Service and HIV

teams. To promote patients dignity and comfort at all times. To support the health advising team with Results Management

for notifying patients of negative results, and non-complex follow up for patients through the recall system. To provide

a high standard of care to patients attending the Sexual Health Service. To work as a team member, ensuring the smooth

running and efficiency of Gloucestershires Sexual Health Service. To provide input into the rota for the sexual health
