About the Role
Shared Lives Carers provide short-term breaks (respite social care) in their homes to support people from the age of 18,
with learning disabilities, mental health, autism and Asperger’s, physical disabilities, sensory impairment or who are
living with dementia and older people. This could be for a single night, a weekend or a full week depending on the needs
of the client.
Our Shared Lives Short Break Carers provides overnight accommodation and activities in order to give full time carers a
break or clients a change of scenery.
