About the Role

Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC code of Professional conduct and work within limits of competence. To

maintain high standards of care by personal example and conduct and be a credible practitioner in the area. Have overall

responsibility for the ward area. Participate in the daily personal care of patients. To be responsible for

Ward/Department nursing staff and to provide a quality and cost effective service in accordance with Trust policy and

procedures. Ensure that accurate records are kept of all care given in the Ward/Department. Act as the key person in the
