About the Role

Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC code of Professional conduct and work within limits of competence.

Demonstrate the use of evidence-based specialist skills and practice, maintain high standards of care by personal

example and conduct and be a credible practitioner in the area. Have overall responsibility for the ward/department

area. To be a point of contact by ensuring that they are visible, accessible and an assertive figure to whom patients,

relatives and staff can turn for assistance, advice, and support. To be responsible for Ward/Department nursing staff

and to provide a quality and cost-effective service in accordance with Trust policy and procedures. Communicate
