About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join the team in the role of Band 6
sister/charge nurse within the Ambulatory emergency care/ Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) based at Northwick park
Hospital.
The ambulatory Emergency Care Unit or Medical SDEC has been open since 2012 and currently sees 50-60 patients per day.
Our service aims to provide same day emergency care for those patients attending with undifferentiated medical
conditions thereby reducing hospital admissions and reducing the pressure on the Emergency Department.
