Spec Peri-operative Practitioner (XR06)

About the Role

1.JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY As an experienced practitioner the jobholder will co-ordinate activities within the peri-operative

environment ensuring effective communication is maintained at all times, providing support to qualified and unqualified

staff within the department. He/she will play a key role in the assessment of patient care needs and the development,

implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The jobholder will play an essential role assisting deputy/team

leader in leading and teaching the peri-operative teams throughout the 24 hour period. The jobholder will act as a role

model, promoting quality evidence-based practice, developing the peri-operative team and ensuring effective management
