Special Needs School Nurse- Outreach
About the Role
The team provides holistic nursing care for pupils with a wide range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and
neurological conditions as well as implementing the Staffordshire Childrens and Young Peoples Health and Well Being
Programme. This role is ideal for someone who is able to work sensitively with children and young people with autism,
learning disabilities and complex medical conditions and advocate for their needs. The successful applicant will work as
an outreach nurse and will work across the services geographical patch, providing support in the special schools covered
by the team. The Schools covered are in the following areas: Tamworth, Lichfield, Burntwood, Cannock and Wombourne.
