Special School Staff Nurse (Sherwood Park)
About the Role
Job Summary The School Nursing Team deliver health care to children with complex health needs attending Sherwood Park
School. They are responsible for undertaking health assessments, completing and updating care plans, managing emergency
situations and providing training for education staff. They complete reports and attend child protection conferences.
The Band 6 School Nurse will also be responsible for supporting the childrens continence service. This will include
carrying out assessments, giving advice around childrens continence needs and issuing products to those children who
meet the criteria.The post holder will work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the care of children
