Specialist Bariatric and weight management nurse

About the Role

To act as a specialist clinician for the adult specialist weight management service and bariatric surgery service,

supporting the clinical lead with evolving and embedding best practice into the clinical area. To manage a specialist

caseload in this area. This may include advising the MDT about the assessment, treatment, management and care of

patients who have a multi-pathological illness and/ or complex psycho social needs. Work autonomously within Trust

policies and professional practice, maintaining accurate and comprehensive up to date records. To conduct specialist

assessment and treatment of patients in a variety of settings with other members of the MDT to ensure effective care
