About the Role

To work within the adult specialist weight management and Bariatric Surgery service providing effective clinical

interventions both in the surgical and non-surgical weight management programmes and advancing clinical practice in line

with current evidence base. Providing highly specialised advice and support to patients which will include patient

assessment, planning and implementing specialist care. In addition, the post holder is expected to provide clinical

expertise within this area of care and to lead and develop education, training, research and audit relevant to the

speciality.
