Specialist Biomedical Scientist - Blood Transfusion

About the Role

A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be an experienced Transfusionist who is skilled at independent working and accustomed to a range of blood

component issues, using both automated technologies and manual techniques, and blood tracking software.

The role is based at Royal Papworth Hospital within a small team. The expectation would be the ideal candidate can learn

quickly and be on shift within a short training and competency assessment period. The experienced Biomedical Scientist

would be required to work a 12-hour shift pattern covering a 24/7 shift system.
