Specialist Clinical Pharmacist
About the Role
Contributing to the development and maintenance of policies and guidelines. Liaising with all grades of medical and
nursing staff over relevant aspects of the pharmacy service. Helping to implement necessary service changes as a
consequence of these consultations. Identifying, reporting on and responding to risk management issues or clinical
incidents, referring to peers as necessary. Generating and reviewing reports in order to assist Advanced Clinical
Pharmacists to inform the Trust about medication usage and expenditure and/or safety issues related to medicines.
Participating in audits to demonstrate the effectiveness or identify development needs of all systems relating to the
