Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) - School Nurse

About the Role

The post holder has the responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation

of programmes of care and the setting of standards of care within the school nursing service. The post holder has the

continuing responsibility for the management of a defined caseload and supervises, deploys and teaches junior staff

members and students within a skill mix team. The post holder will provide clinical leadership to a skill mix team

within the 5-19 HCP nurses. A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work independently are required; applicants

must have a valid driving licence and the use of a car available for work.
