Specialist Eating disorder Practitioner

About the Role

You will hold and take responsibility for managing a clinical caseload of clients with complex needs and provide a range

of recommended therapeutic interventions. Regular supervision should be accessed in order to reflect upon your practice

and further develop your skills. You will assist clients to address the underlying causes of their eating disorder that

are often sensitive in nature, including abuse and past trauma. As part of your role you will be required to offer

guidance and support to carers. You will also facilitate and participate in developing a range of therapeutic groups,

this role will also include evaluating their effectiveness and providing clinical data / outcome measures as required.
