About the Role

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals are looking for an experienced and dynamic anaesthetist to work as a Specialist

within Scarborough hospital. This is a new role designed for senior doctors who are competent and comfortable to work

independently both in, and out of, normal daytime hours. The post has been set up to replicate the way of working of our

current Consultant body, in recognition of the fact that many senior, non-Consultant, anaesthetists are already

effectively working at this level. We hope that this exciting opportunity will provide the challenge, recognition and

remuneration, that the successful applicant deserves.
