About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Midwife to lead on infant feeding services and UNICEF baby friend initiative.

The Maternity Service is committed to achieving Baby Friendly Status within the Maternity Service and a key part of the

role will be leading and progressing the project through to full achievement of BFI, within the identified timescales.

The post holder will demonstrate motivational approach to training, with excellent communication skills both verbal and

written. They will be able to engage at all levels within the service to develop a service committed to best practice in

infant feeding.
