Specialist Neurodevelopmental Paediatric Nurse

About the Role

Deliver baseline ADHD assessments, monitor vitals/side effects in line with NICE guidance, provide medication education,

sharedcare liaison and timely titration. Work within the MDT on neurodevelopmental pathways, including Social

Communication and multidisciplinary assessments. Lead Down syndrome nurseled clinics, support CP surveillance and

coordinate care for children with complex needs and/or life limiting conditions. Support families to understand

conditions and treatment options and contribute to EHCP medical advice. Coordinate followup for epilepsy, promoting

medication adherence and safety planning. Recognise and respond to child and adult safeguarding concerns, follow local
