About the Role

To act as a specialist resource on all aspects of pain management and related symptom control, using research to

underpin clinical practice.

Co-ordinate patient care and treatments ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care, providing specialist

psychological support and education for both patients and their carers ensuring that information is current, and

evidence based using biopsychosocial approach.
