The Specialist Nurse Safeguarding Children/Child Protection Advisor, is an important role within the wider Safeguarding
Children Team. The Post holder provides expert advice to all Trust staff who are worried about the welfare of a child.
They help support the duty system within the Trust advising and supporting in a calm and contained manner.
The post holder will be a key contact between the Trust and wider multi-agency partners, sharing information and
supporting the multi-agency partners to safeguard children.
