About the Role
This is a key role in developing and maintaining high standards of care for women and birthing people with mental health
problems, complex social disadvantage, and other health and/or social vulnerabilities through pregnancy and into the
postnatal period, including support for their families. You will work collaboratively with professional colleagues to
provide midwifery care to women and people with mental health/complex social disadvantage and have a high level of
relevant expert knowledge and skills, which you will use to manage, develop, and lead care. You will be responsible for
providing extra support and care to women and birthing people with moderate to severe mental health problems, in
