About the Role
Join the York Community Therapy Team as a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist, where you will provide holistic physiotherapy interventions to patients in their homes. Your expertise will help maintain their independence, prevent hospital admissions, and support discharges, all while working within a supportive and friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specialist physiotherapy assessments for referred patients.
- Determine clinical needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
- Support and train junior staff and students.
- Maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
- Initiate evidence-based audits to improve clinical practice.
Requirements
- Full and valid driving license with access to a vehicle.
- Experience in community physiotherapy settings.
- Strong communication and health coaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a defined service area.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
