Specialist Renal Dietitian

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Specialist Renal Dietitian to join our dedicated renal dietetic team at RDUH. This role involves providing specialized dietetic care to patients with kidney disease across Devon and Somerset, while also contributing to education and training within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide dietetic care to pre-dialysis and dialysis patients.
• Manage a caseload of inpatient and outpatient clients.
• Supervise and train student dietitians and medical staff.
• Participate in research and audit projects.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with relevant experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel to satellite units.
• Experience in renal dietetics preferred.
• Line management experience is a plus.

Compensation

Location & Schedule

This role is based in the South West of England, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
