Specialist Support Worker
About the Role
The Specialist Support Worker will be able to deliver elements of health and social care and undertake clinical work in
domains that have previously only been within the remit of registered professionals. This post will therefore transcend
traditional professional boundaries. They will work with other members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate the
development and delivery of assessment and treatment service. This includes contributing to the full range of care
tasks, including the co-ordination of shifts under supervision from the Nurse in Charge, co-facilitating therapeutic
groups and individual activities, information gathering and analysis to inform a multi-disciplinary formulation, audit
