About the Role

Newcastle City Council SEND Outreach Service is looking to appoint a 0.6 FTE specialist teacher. This is an exciting

opportunity for someone who is committed to promoting a child centred and inclusive approach to achieve the best

outcomes for children and young people with special education needs including speech, language and communication and

cognition and learning needs.

The SEND Outreach Service team currently includes specialist teachers, specialist Nursery Nurses and specialist Learning

Support Assistants who work on a peripatetic basis to provide a range of advice, support and training for schools and
