About the Role

We have a wonderful opportunity to join the Accident and Emergency department at Basildon Hospital as a Speciality

Doctor covering a 24-hour Emergency Department roster along with opportunities for professional development.

Our ED is a Trauma Unit part of the North East London Trauma Network, on average we see 147,000 attendances per year.

Opportunities for variation in skills from Minor Injuries to life saving treatment in our state of the art Resus area.

The post holder will be clinically and educationally responsible to the Consultants in Emergency Medicine; with active

participation in the reception, initial diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients attending the Emergency
