About the Role
This post holder essentially covers Acute Paediatric unit and Neonatal unit at a Middle grade level. The post holder is
responsible for the following Managing children admitted to the Paediatric ward under supervision of a Consultant.
Supervising and supporting Tier 1 doctors and Nurse practitioners in patient care in childrens ward and assessment unit
. Managing babies on the Neonatal unit under supervision of consultant Supervision and supporting Tier 1 doctors and
Nurse practitioners in patient care for babies on the neonatal unit and maternity unit. Attending high risk deliveries
on the maternity unit Attending resuscitation calls in A&E Seeing patients referred to the Paediatric Assessment unit
