About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Oral health care for individuals referred to the Department including those who are
medically compromised, people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, mental health
problems and/or dental anxiety or phobia Treatment of patients presenting complex medical and/or management problems who
are unsuitable for treatment outside a hospital environment Treatment of patients requiring comprehensive dental care
under conscious sedation or general anaesthesia Clinical supervision of dental hygienists/therapists and junior staff
Clinical supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching If required clinically relevant teaching of
