About the Role

We have opportunities for Specialty Doctors to join our well-establish medical team based at Basildon Hospital (BTUH),

based within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU)/Medical Same Day Emergency Care (DEC)/Ambulatory Care Unit). This is Specialty

Doctorfull-time post, based on 10+2 PA's a week (subject to change). Part-time staff will receive a pro-rate payment.

You will be expected to carry out ward rounds/reviews on the Acute Assessment Unit/SDEC units and your periods of duty

will be defined in accordance with the rota prepared by the Rota Coordinator/Consultant in charge.

You will have day-to-day supervisory responsibility for patients on the ward, willcover inpatients under consultant
