About the Role
Main Duties of the Post Clinical Duties Diagnosis, treatment and management of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in
line with BASHH guidance and local SOPs Counselling on all aspects of STIs for patients and their partners/family
members Sexual health promotion including risk reduction advice and provision of relevant vaccines Assessment for and
provision of post-exposure prophylaxis (HIV PEPSE and DoxyPEP) and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV infection To
work with colleagues in other specialties for the benefit of the patient To actively contribute to MDTs and clinical
meetings Counselling and provision of all methods of contraception, including emergency contraception, in line with
