About the Role

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Work - Medical assessments daily for both pre/post chemotherapy patients ongoing for

duration of treatment - Daily prescribing and supporting of nurse led services - Review of Acute Oncology inpatients

following emergency admission - Provide medical cover for adverse reactions/identify clinical risks within the

chemotherapy unit - Support Oncology unit with possible complications and Neutropenia assessment of walk in patients -

Attendance of specialist MDTs - Provide oncology support and visibility across the trust - Dissemination of knowledge to

junior colleagues - Integrate within all site specific cancers - Undertake Outpatient Clinics as required - Review of
