About the Role

Facilities comprise of a 13-bedded inpatient facility on Ward 23. We have a Gynaecology Assessment Unit (GAU) where an

ultrasound scan machine is available for emergency patients. Procedures such as manual vacuum aspiration, incision and

drainage of Bartholins abscess with Words catheter are available. Early Pregnancy Assessment service is available from

Monday to Friday. Gynaecology theatre suite comprises of two operating theatres (12 and 14) complete with anaesthetic

and recovery areas and is situated within the new build. We perform minimal access surgery, open surgery,

urogynaecological procedures and hysteroscopic procedures in theatre. A Gynaecology outpatients unit is situated within
