JOB OVERVIEW
The Band 3- Ophthalmic Technician is an integral member of the ophthalmology team, responsible for delivering
high-quality, patient-centred diagnostic services to support the assessment and management of patients with a range of
eye conditions. The post holder performs a variety of ophthalmic diagnostic tests such as visual acuity measurement,
intraocular pressure checks, visual field screening, and imaging techniques including fundus photography and optical
coherence tomography (OCT).
